General Questions
1 - Where can I buy a WetJet pressure washers or accessories?
WetJet products are carried at Princess Auto. Check with your local store to see if they have stock or can bring it in for you.
2 - Where are WetJet pressure washers made?
WetJet units are made in Canada. The manufacturing facility is located in Abbotsford, British Columbia.
3 - Why do WetJet gas pressure washers only have Honda engines?
Honda is the world’s premier small engine manufacturer. They have the highest performance, reliability and largest network of service centers available.
4 - What should I do if I have operating problems?
First check your manual to ensure it is set up properly and you have tried the trouble shooting guide. If it is still not working then contact technical support (+1.800.663.8331) or a service center.
5 - Where do I find a service center if I am having problems?

6 - How do I register for warranty?
Your warranty begins when you buy your product and is based on your receipt that you received from the store. We recommend you keep the receipt in a safe place, such as in the owner’s manual. No further action is needed.
7- I lost my manual. How do I get another one?
You can down load a PDF copy of your manual from this website. Simply find your pressure washer on the products page of this website, locate the manual download feature and you will have access to the manual.
8 - What type of fuel should I use?
All of our gas engines require fresh gasoline rated at 86 octane or more. Having zero percent ethanol is best, but blends that are up to 10% ethanol are acceptable. Never mix oil into your fuel.
9 - Why is it important to only use fresh fuel?
We recommend using only fresh fuel because fuel can grow stale and start breaking down. Old fuel will lose octane and form sediments within it. Stale fuel will cause starting and running problems with your engine and needs to be avoided.
10 - What type of engine oil should I use?
All of our engines use SAE 10W30 motor oil.
11 - How often should I change my engine oil?
The first oil change is done after the first 20 hours of operation. After that, check the oil before every use and change when dirty or after every 100 hours, whichever comes first.
12 - What type of oil should I use in the pump?
Only use 30W Non-detergent oil. Do not put engine oil into your pump.
Pressure Washers
1 - What is PSI?
PSI is the abbreviation for Pounds per Square Inch. This is the measure of the maximum pressure of the water coming out of the spray tip. It can be viewed as the speed of the water, or the stripping power. This will help determine how powerful the water stream will be to dislodge stains and stubborn dirt.
2 - What is GPM?
GPM is the abbreviation for Gallons Per Minute. This is the measure of the volume of water the pump needs to operate, and how much the pump pushes out. It can be viewed as the weight of water, or the rinsing power. This will help determine how fast you can clean a surface.
3 - How do figure out how powerful a pressure washer is?
The performance of a pressure washer is determined by the PSI and GPM ratings. If you multiply the two ratings together it will give you an understanding of its cleaning power. This will help you compare different pressure washers.
4 - How much water does my pressure washer need?
Your pressure washer must be supplied enough water to match GPM rating. It is strongly recommended to have an extra GPM going into than needed to account for any water flow fluctuations. The pump will fail quickly if it starves for water.
5 - What kind of detergent can I use with my pressure washer?
We recommend using detergent that is specifically designed for pressure washers. It will need to be thin viscosity similar to water.
6 - What should I do if the spray pattern changes?
Remove the spray nozzle and inspect it. If clogged clean it, if damaged replace it. Continued use of a malfunctioning nozzle will lead to pump damage.
7 - Can I leave my pressure washer running while not spraying?
No. Never leave your pressure washer running without using it. The cooling system of the pump needs you to spray water at least every thirty seconds to flush the pump and have fresh, cool water run through it.
8 - How do I fix a leaking high-pressure hose?
You can’t. It must be replaced. Trying to repair a high-pressure hose may lead to further damage or injury.
9 - Can I get aftermarket attachments for my pressure washer?
Yes. Your pressure washer has common fittings in the pressure washer industry. You will find many attachments you can use directly, or with an adapter.
10 - Can I damage my car with a pressure washer?
Yes, if you put the tip too close to the paint or moldings the pressure washer can inflict damage. Especially if there is existing damage such as paint or glass chips. Always start at a safe distance and move in closer.
11 - Can I use a pressure washer in freezing temperatures?
No. Operating in freezing temperatures can damage components of the pressure washer, as well cause problems to the items being sprayed. Never leave your pressure washer in freezing temperatures. Always drain hoses and attachments before winter and use anti-freeze in the pump.
12 - Can I feed hot water into my pressure washer?
No. Only use a cold-water source for your pressure washer. The pump is cooled by being fed by cold water. If you feed it hot water you can quickly overheat the pump and cause it to fail.
